Team History
The three founding partners of Gosselin Consulting Group bring a combined 40+ years of Defined Contribution investment consulting experience to the market. Having spent our careers working for some of the industry’s leading asset management organizations and independent recordkeepers, we offer our clients a unique industry perspective.
As a result of our record-keeping background, we have extensive experience with not only bringing best-in-class investment ideas to clients, but also managing the impact of investment decisions on retirement plans — both from an operational and plan participant perspective. As such, we offer our clients a holistic approach to investment consulting that we believe differentiates our services from the traditional investment consulting model.
Throughout our careers our partners have all performed the dual role of research analyst and consultant, a structure that we continue to apply at Gosselin Consulting Group. This model allows us to provide our clients with a comprehensive research perspective, resulting in a more efficient and accurate flow of information between our consultants and our clients. The ability to truly customize recommendations based on plan objectives and demographics is also enhanced by this structure.
In addition to our primary roles as research analysts and investment consultants, each of our partners also has significant industry experience in the following areas related to Defined Contribution plans:
- Plan pricing and financing
- Negotiation of revenue share
- Capital Markets research
- Implementation of non-registered investment vehicles
- Design and ongoing management of non-proprietary investment platforms
