Peter J. Gosselin, AIF®
Peter is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Gosselin Consulting Group, LLC and brings 18 years of industry experience to the firm. Peter has spent the last 16 years of his career working extensively with large- and mega-sized institutional Defined Contribution plan sponsors in the areas of fiduciary oversight, investment policy design, manager monitoring/selection, and plan pricing/financing. He has extensive experience developing investment manager research models and was the architect behind the research platforms at his previous employers. Peter serves as the firm’s Chief Investment Officer and leads its investment research and selection committee. He is a frequent speaker at industry events. Peter has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (or AIF®) professional designation from Fiduciary360. He has received formal training in investment fiduciary responsibility.

Mercer Outsourcing (Defined Contribution)
(1/05 – 4/10) Principal, Senior Director and Manager of Investment Services Team
In this position, Peter managed the team responsible for investment-related activities at the plan sponsor level from both an existing client and sales perspective. His team also oversaw the firm’s investment manager platform and was responsible for all investment research, relationships, and negotiation. In addition to his management role, Peter was responsible for assisting large- and mega-sized corporate and Taft-Hartley plans in fulfilling their fiduciary responsibility with regard to their investment program. In this role, Peter actively covered over 30 client relationships ranging from $50 million to over $3 billion in total plan assets.
Putnam Investments (Defined Contribution)
(10/95 – 12/04) Senior Vice President / Senior Investment Specialist – Investment Services Team
Peter spent over 10 years on Putnam’s Investment Services Team, which evolved into Mercer Outsourcing’s Investment Services Team in January 2005. Peter was responsible for assisting mid- to mega-size corporate and Taft-Hartley plans in fulfilling their fiduciary responsibility with regard to their investment program. In this role, Peter actively covered over 30 client relationships ranging from less than $50 million to over $1 billion in total plan assets. In addition, Peter was the architect and manager of Putnam’s non-proprietary investment platform for retirement clients.

(7/94 – 9/95) Senior Fund Accountant – Fixed Income Multi-Strategy Group
In this position, Peter was responsible for daily accounting activities and audit oversight for multiple funds in the Fixed Income Multi-Strategy Accounting Group.
