About Us
Gosselin Consulting Group LLC was founded in 2010 and is an independent, employee-owned, registered investment advisor (RIA) located in Braintree, Massachusetts. We provide co-fiduciary investment consulting services to mid- to mega-market corporate and Taft-Hartley plans (qualified and non-qualified). Our firm has no affiliation with asset managers, mutual fund companies, recordkeepers, or broker-dealers which allows the firm to function in a completely independent and objective manner with no conflicts of interest or hidden agendas.
For plan sponsors, our main objective is to provide prudent fiduciary guidance, education, and investment support to plan fiduciaries who are charged with designing a roadmap for participants that depend on them for their near- and long-term financial well-being. To achieve this, we create a customized approach for each of our clients that is centered around their fiduciary objectives and unique plan demographics, metrics, and concerns. By serving as an investment advocate and extension of our clients’™ investment committee, we strive to assist them with executing the fiduciary oversight of their investment programs. Delivering uncompromising client service is critical in meeting this objective.
For investment firms, we leverage our experiences to provide timely knowledge and proactive insight on product offering design, strategic institutional distribution, and investment vehicle utilization in the defined contribution marketplace. Our goal is to enhance the awareness and knowledge that these firms have of the retirement marketplace so that more competitive product offerings are available to DC and DB plan sponsors.
At Gosselin Consulting Group, our compensation is based on a fixed-fee, not an asset-based fee, and takes an all-inclusive approach. We will not “nickel and dime” our clients and have created a competitive fee structure inclusive of an extensive menu of plan sponsor [create link to plan sponsor services page] and investment firm [create link to investment firm services page] services. We strive to deliver top value for the services that we offer, and we believe that as our clients’ assets grow, they should be the beneficiary of that growth, not us. Therefore our fees remain fixed throughout the duration of our engagement.
In order to avoid any conflicts of interest, Gosselin Consulting Group will disclose all current and former investment manager relationships to all Defined Contribution consulting clients, at least annually (more frequently if requested), as well as as part of every initial engagement or Request for Proposal (RFP).
